From our first conversation to the moment you exchange your vows, I'll work closely with you to create a celebration that reflects your relationship, personalities and wishes.
1. Let's Get to Know Each Other
We'll begin with a relaxed, informal conversation where you can tell me about your wedding plans, your ideas and the kind of ceremony you're dreaming of.
It's also an opportunity to ask questions and see whether I'm the right celebrant for you.
2. Discovering Your Love Story
Once you've decided to work with me, we'll arrange a more detailed meeting.
I'll want to hear how you met, what makes your relationship special, the memories you treasure and the hopes you share for your future.
We'll also explore any readings, music, symbolic rituals or family contributions you'd like to include.
3. Creating Your Personal Ceremony
Using everything you've shared, I'll carefully write a ceremony that tells your story and reflects the promises you're making to one another.
You'll have the opportunity to review the wording and suggest changes, so that every part feels right for you.
I'll also help you with your vows if you'd like a little inspiration.
4. Your Special Day
On your wedding day, I'll be there to conduct your ceremony with warmth, confidence and care.
Whether your celebration is intimate and romantic or filled with laughter and joyful surprises, my aim is to help create a moment that you and your guests will remember for years to come.
Your love story is unique. Your ceremony should be too.
A Little Note About the Legal Formalities
One of the wonderful things about a celebrant-led wedding is the freedom to create a ceremony that truly reflects you.
There is, however, one important distinction to be aware of.
In England, a ceremony conducted by an independent celebrant does not, on its own, constitute a legally recognised marriage.
To become legally married, you'll need to complete the required legal formalities separately, usually through a register office.
Many couples choose to take care of these formalities on a different day, leaving them free to enjoy a completely personalised celebrant-led ceremony in the setting of their choice.
This means your special celebration can focus entirely on your love story, the promises you make and the people who share the moment with you.
The legal formalities make your marriage official. Your celebrant-led ceremony makes the celebration uniquely yours.

My attendance to conduct your ceremony on your wedding day.
Travel within the Isle of Axholme and surrounding areas is included.
I am also happy to conduct ceremonies further afield. Any additional travel expenses will always be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
Please note that my celebrant fee does not include the separate legal marriage formalities.
